Race Packages
Our Race Packages are custom packages for a group of five people or more (not all need to be riders).
As in Europe, the Western Cape also has definite mountain bike and road bike seasons. The road season starts in October and has a break in December, kicking off again in January with a frenzy of racing in and around Cape Town. The season builds up to the Argus cycle tour weekend in March. The mountain bike season runs through winter (April to August) with a number of fantastic races on the calendar. Most of the races offer a short, medium, and long route, and are often part of a festival hosted by local communities.
Most of the road and mountain bike races have in excess of 1 500 entrants. Please ensure that you send us your best most recent race results so that we can arrange for you to be seeded by the South African Pedal Power Association to ensure a good starting position.
Our Race Package takes care of the logistics, transport, transfers, accommodation, food, etc., for one or more of these races. Please see the race calendar below for races and/or dates that suit you and your group.
The Race Package can also be added to other tour packages to create a totally unique custom experience.
Training and Race Training Camps
All our tour packages are available as training camps. We also offer custom training camps that can be tailored to your specifications, or target specific races, such as the ABSA Cape Epic, Cape Pioneer Trek, Double Century, and Panorama Tour. These packages give you a chance to include as much as possible of the actual race routes in your training.
Prices for our Training and Race Camps vary according to location and duration.
